Reservations for Physically Handicapped for Admission to various course in the University/Colleges:

  1. Three percent (3%) seats in all undergraduate and postgraduate institutions (including professional and technical institutions) are reserved for candidates with physical disabilities.

  2. Reservations are also applicable to institutions where admission is through Entrance Examinations.

  3. Reservation are implemented college wise in the undergraduate course and department wise in postgraduate courses as well as in those undergraduate courses where teaching is available only in one Department/ College.

  4. Candidates seeking admission under reservation shall be required to fulfil other criteria of admission as per rules.

studentsAdmission of Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribes Candidates Candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes seeking admission to the POst-Graduate course are also required to get their names registered alongwith otehr candidates.

Admission of Students to Post-Graduate Courses on the Basis of Sports: Not more than 5% of the total number of seats in each of the course may be offered for admission on the basis of sports, as per criteria prescribed by the authorities.
