Enrolment in Non-Formal Education Cell:

(External Candidates) enrols candidates for the following exams: Two-year Post-Graduate courses in (1) M.A. in Hindi, Sanskrit & Philosophy (2) M.Com.

Eligibility are same as already mentioned for regular students.

studentsRelaxation : Persons seeking enrolment for the M. A./M.Com. Examinations of the University must have passed a degree examination (Under 10+2+3 Scheme) of the University of Delhi or an examination recognised as equivalent thereto conducted by any other authority established by law and situated within the territorial limits to which the powers of the University extend i.e., within the territorial limits of the National Capital Territory of Delhi, and must satisfy other conditions as laid down by the University. In the case of persons belonging to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes, who have passed the last qualifying examination from Delhi University or an equivalent Examination conducted by any authority situated within the National Capital Territory of Delhi with the same percentage of pass marks as prescribed by Delhi University, are eligible for enrolment for the M.A./MCom. Examinations.

Children, widows of the Officers and men of Armed Forces including Para-military Personnel killed or disabled in action in the War or who died on duty are allowed relaxation to the extent of 5 % in the minimum marks in aggregate or the subject, as the case may be, as laid down for enrolment in the case of M.A./M.Com. Examinations on production of a certificate for the educational concession from any of the following authorities:

  1. Secretary, Kendriya Sainik Board, Delhi .
  2. Secretary, Rajya/Zila Sainik Board.
  3. Officer-in-Charge Record Office.
  4. 1st class Stipendary Magtistrate.

Note:

  1. Incase of enrollmentfortheM.A. and M.Com. Examination rounding of a fractional percentage of marks obtained in the last qualifying examination to the next higher percentage shall not be allowed.

  2. Each candidate for the M.A./M.Com. examination has to take and pass the final examination within four years from the year in which was enrolled for the part I examination. However, in the case of a candidate, the four years span will not be counted in relation to the year of first enrolment if the person concerned intimate to the University authorities concerned his intention of not appearing at the examination held at the end of that academic year on or before the 16th October of the same year; but same will be counted from the year when such a person unrolled himself afresh for the examination.

    The exam recognized as equivalent to the corresponding exam of the DU must have been conducted by an authority established by law and situated within the Union Territory of Delhi.

Enrolment In School Of Correspondence Courses And Continuing Education , 5, Cevalry Line, University of Delhi , Delhi 110007 offers MA Hindi, Political Science, History, Sanskrit and M.Com. courses through Correspondence. Eligibility Same as prescribed for regular candidates. For admission to MA History and MCom courses, Entrance Test is held and the candidates are required to get themselves registered along with regular students in Faculty of Arts. For further details you may contact the Principal at the above address. studentsAdmission of Foreign Students: Foreign students seeking admission to various Courses are required to apply direct to the Foreign Students Advisor, Foreign Students Registry, Faculty of Management Studies, University of Delhi , Delhi 110007, who will arrange for their admission in the Colleges/Departments.

Nepalese/Bhutanese Students: The candidates, sponsored by the Government of Nepal , Bhutan for admission to M. A. and M.Com. Courses will be given 5 % relaxation in the minimum marks requirements but there will not be any reservation of seats for such candidates for any course.
